Media Relations

Reporters Start Here!

Before coming to campus, please review these Media Access Policies.

From helping reporters and editors meet a looming deadline to assisting with in-depth news features, Manchester University Media Relations and Communications staff have all the connections. We can link you with faculty experts, students and others in the know. Need some background information? We can save you precious minutes and hours.

We're serious about connecting you with the strongest sources for your stories. We can help you navigate our private campuses, ensuring you make the most of your valuable time with us.

Photos? No problem! In most cases, we can arrange easy access for your photographers and provide high-quality, high-resolution photos from University resources.

Students, faculty and staff start here!

Do you need help with a press release for your event? Have you tried to submit an item for the Campus Calendar, and it's just not working? Would you like training for yourself or someone to speak to your class about how to prepare for an interview? Contact Jennifer Barscz.

We ask those who write for University publications, the website and other nonacademic material to follow The Manchester Style. Although the guide is not comprehensive, it does include terms and names unique to Manchester. It also addresses punctuation and Athletics guidelines. With intentional use, these guideline help tell the Manchester story in a consistent way.
